Help with PSU Upgrade
Hello all just registered after some browsing. I’ve been contradicting myself on a PSU upgrade. There’s way to many brands and models to choose from and I’m looking for some recommendations on some decent ones for gaming. I currently have a Thermaltake 600w Smart 80+ White. When I built my pc last year I didn’t do any reading in it and now all I see is horror stories. I just started finally really using my computer for more demanding games so I feel I need an upgrade any recommended PSU’s will help. I have a budget of $100. Here are my PC Specs
ASRock B450M Pro4 MOBO
Crucial P2 M.2 1TB 3D NAND NVME SSD
Ryzen 5 2600x CPU
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16gb DDR4 3200 Ram
Thermaltake 600 80+ ATX PSU
Asus ROG Strix GTX 1660 Super GPU

You don't need more than a good 450 watt...they just don't make really good 450 watt.

be quiet! Straight Power 11 450w is a very good one but not available in the USA. Another option is https://www.newegg.com/super-flower-...5109-_-Product

I should add I do plan to hopefully upgrade my GPU within the next year, not sure if it’s going to be a 3000 series or not but will be upgrading that.

Low-end, mid-range, high-end, enthousiast? What's the range you're looking at?

I’d say mid range or high range because I do plan to upgrade some parts in the future, and yes just an enthusiast. The $100 budget is flexible. It’s not gonna break the bank to go over a tad

$100 should be more than enough, especially if you wait till Black Friday. A high-end PSU between 550W and 750W should be fine. The early named Fractal Design ION+ is a good PSU, but there are many more, it just depends on the prices Friday.
