PSU advice for 5600X + RX6800 (OC)

Hi everyone!

Most sites seem to think you only need a 650W PSU for an RX 6800, but I'm not sure they are taking into consideration overclocking the whole system. What do you guys think is a good PSU for this setup ?

GFX: Radeon RX 6800
CPU: Ryzen 5600X
CPU-cooler: Undecided. Leaning towards Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo
MOBO: MSI B550 A PRO
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2 x 8GB DDR4-3600 cl16
SSD: Western Digital 1TB M.2 Blue SN550
HDD: 10y old 1TB Western Digital Blue
CASE: Silverstone RL06(with 4 system fans)
Location: Portugal

Overclocking: I'll be overclocking the ram, cpu and graphics card as much as possible with this air cooled setup(for daily/gaming use only). In regards to the RX6800 I'm hoping this card will be like the R9 290 where we were able to bios mod it to the R9 290X. If it works we should probably consider my GFX to have RX6800XT levels of power consumption.

Yeah, 650 is the non-OC baseline recommendation.
Then again, the 5600x is not a huge power draw.

When you push overclocks, the sky is really the limit however...

Of course your local market is important, but 750 watt is a sweet spot in high end PSU pricing in the US.

Its what I would go with for your described system.

From what I gather the Corsair RM750(2019) (115€) and the Super Flower Leadex III 750W 80+ Gold (100/110€) are good units. Any other suggestions ?

Those 2 seem like great units but where I live they are a bit over budget. I'm working with 120€ max.

Some of the options I have under that price are:

• Super Flower Leadex III 750W 80+ Gold 100-110€

• BitFenix Whisper M 750W 80+ Gold 105-110€

• Seasonic Focus GX 750W 80 Plus Gold 110-120€

• Corsair RM 750 (2019) 80+ Gold 115€

• Gigabyte P750GM 750W 80+ Gold 90-100€

• Corsair TX750M 99€

Which one/s should I go for ? Which one/s should I avoid ?

For a cooler look at Scythe Fuma 2 (or possibly Ninja 5 if it's cheaper), it should be about 50-60 EUR, sure, a bit more expensive than Arctic eSports DUO but it's has one of the best price to performance ratios among air coolers.

bitfenix whisper m are now available in australia (up to now they have not been generally)
and they are reasonably priced here.

I ended up getting a good deal on the DUO - 31€ down from 45€.
