EVGA BR has not been tested yet, though premilinary clues suggest it's DC-DC based, while CV is group regulated, hence expectation is EVGA is better, though without review confirmning that, it's still possible they messed something up.

Anything else available? Cooler Master MWE? Be-quiet! System Power 9? Corsair CX?

The EVGA BR is the bare minimum for a PC like yours in my opinion. It's recommended to look for something better.

Neither the BR500 nor the CV450 are great, both lower end models.

The BR is probably better than any of the units mentioned in your last post.

It's at least dc-dc and not the worst thing out there, albeit the cheaper caps and lower temp rating isn't great.

Personally I'd pick the BR500 over the CV450 since it's higher wattage and slightly superior topologies inside.

I punished one with a ryzen 5 3600 and gtx1080 and it didn't have any issues.

    No to all.

Only if the Cooler Master is the V2 version, then it's the best choice.

If it isn't V2 then the EVGA BR is the least worst option.
