    Default jonny quick question

my brothers computer had this power supply that came with his case years ago...

APEVIA ATX-CW500WP4 ATX 500W Power Supply 115/230 V UL, CSA, TUV, CE - Retail

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...k=&srchInDesc=

i had this power supply from my dads new computer that never got built, it was brand new as of january, and i installed it in my bros case today just so that it would be a little more reliable, but then again... how reliable are either of these... which would have been the better choice anyway?

Sunbeam PSU-CGMI450-US-BK ATX 450W Black Tri Mirrored X-Plug Modular Power Supply 100V~120V/200~240V - Retail

I'm not Jonny so I can't really answer the question Jonny-style, but:

Neither are particularly reliable nor good. I'd take the Apevia over the Sunbeam though, since the Sunbeam only has 14a.

but I'd get a better power supply anyways.

NINJAEDIT: WTF the apevia one says TURBOLINK RIGHT ON THE LABEL

A Sunbeam that doesn't even say Sunbeam? Case Gears? That logo kind of looks like Codegen's!

The Enlight might actually be the best bet!

    Seriously, what's your bro running?

The Enlight looks like an old Enhance. The Turbolink looks to be one of their Real Power Enterprise Co. units - utter junk. It's missing surge protection and line filtering parts.
