Yes. The dozen customers that bought them also agree.

It's like the CX. Looks great on paper and reviews. But when 99% of the customers are too ignorant to care, you don't make any ROI having to pay to renew certs every year, etc.

Also, the cost delta between an HX1500i and an AX1600i is still quite a bit.

Can you look at the label of your sample and say if there are any differences, in the model number maybe ?

But why did you ended up working with them?

    So you mean same platform?

And we also need SF850 titanium

Flex decided not to do ATX PSU any more so Jon will have to select new partner.

    Oh that was Flex's decision...

That's at least what they told me when I approached them for other project for my ex employer.

I don't have it anymore, but I do remember it had some additional suffixes like "Pro Premium" or something like that.

They only placed one order with CWT and no more. That's why CWT was more than happy to share the platform with others last year.

Yeah. Unfortunate really. I've approached GW, Delta, Chicony, Wentai... nobody can make a PSU as good as Flex.

Any way.. we're getting off track.

Yes. The BQ is a very good PSU. I even like how they oversized the bulk caps (from standard issue) to reduce ripple. Attention to detail is important. Shows that BQ is doing more than just slapping a label on someone's platform.

I just would like to see a more thorough review from Aris. Too bad BeQuiet doesn't participate in the Cybenetics testing. I fear that fan design may actually create unnecessary noise.

huh? I spot 'em on PSUs DB: https://www.cybenetics.com/index.php...&params=1,0,22 and even Straight Power 11 Platinum had been tested earlier this year, so perhaps should we rephrase into " no more test of any other BeQ's PSU at Cybernetics' " ?

    Yeah. I guess that's what I meant.

I know there was some "conflict" at beQuiet about the "usefulness" of Cybenetics. But the owner is a weird dude. At least with the interactions I've had with him. He also never knew jonnyguru.com was a thing. Not that it is anymore, but ever.
