Default CORSAIR RMx (2020 or 2021 whatsoever)

Platform looks same, maybe bit more optimized?
850 and below are with new triangular fan/exhaust grill design. Side label design might be the 'new style' too...

It's a bit different from RMx, looks like RM 2019 with better quality components.

And lets hope it uses some better cables.

Yes it definitely got minor fixes from RMx2018 to RM2019...
The best thing is our local distributor 'discontinued' RMx2018 after RM2019 release and distribution (which is really stupid), so happy to see it again on local market.

What do you mean "better cables"?

Those cable caps with heat shrink tubing make the cables a lot worse and there only there for a higher rating in reviews. Which actually doesn't make sense, because it's worse for all users, yet most reviewers rate is as a plus. Best cables would be the one Fractal Design uses for their ION+ series. Other cable changes Corsair could do would be two EPS cables for the whole line-up and get rid of the daisy-chained PEG cables.

CX series should get flat cables too. Handling non-modular PSU with thick sleeved cable is painful...

I hope they call it 2021. This year is almost over (considering market entry schedules).

At least it doesn't look like your lab leaked it. Looks like either CB or CE.

Regardless.. doesn't matter. That ID changed. Those tests are invalid.
