    Default FSP Hydro GD/GE

Recently I came across with these two PSUs:

    https://www.lazada.com.my/products/f...54b13gzEL&mp=1

    https://www.lazada.com.my/products/f...54bO2O2yt&mp=1

How good are these two PSUs? The GD doesn't seems to get reviewed so I need some opinions on this.

    GE is ACRF+DC2DC minor rails
    Downgrade from Hydro G
Primary cap can be nippon chemicon/nichicon
Aluminum Polymer capacitors on secondary side
    Infineon transistors on DC2DC modules

It's is ok,but you can do better for the price depending on the availablity of other psus at where you buy from.

GD, can't find any internal pictures but FSP marketing suggests same topology(probably even a downgrade of some sorts).

They are both similar power supplies based on a similar platform as Hexa 85+ (80PLUS Bronze) and Raider II (80PLUS Silver). It's a lower-end design, so use it for a lower-end gaming PC. It's totally different from Hydro G, which is actually a good high quality power supply.

you might rather get a new Hydro Pro (despite ain't modular at all): the REAL improvement on a tight budget.
Ofc, Hydro G / G Pro are the REAL thing

    It's a Hexa 85+ with downgraded primary. From 100-240V to 200-240V.

So how does it compare against the Corsair CX550M/Thermaltake GX1 Gold?

I've got a feeling we answer that question that you just gonna post another PSU. So why not ask the question you really wanna ask?

I just looked at pictures from the outside, you can already see it that way.

But found also one from the inside:
