Question Seasonic Focus GX or Super Flower Leadex III (650W)

    Hello,

I need a 650W power supply for a PC I am building, and I hesitate between these two models, therefore I would greatly appreciate any help/comments to make a decision.

Here in Norway prices have significantly increased due to the collapse of the krone, and buying abroad is not an option (because of the import taxes).

In local shops I can get the Focus 650W at about 1150kr and the Leadex 650W around 1420kr.

In the past I used EVGA models (~ Leadex II) and was very happy with them, but given the price difference I wonder if the Seasonic is not better value for money.

Looking forward to reading from you guys

    Leif

You can only choose between those two?

What are your full PC specifications?

There are also other brands, basic Inter-Tech, Thermaltake, Cooler Master, EVGA, Fractal Design and Corsair models, or much more expensive PSUs over 1000W

Did you ever see a high quality Inter-Tech with a good price? I only saw overpriced lowend and crappy stuff.

OP - the Mask wants to know the specs to see what you need in terms of wattage. He wants to know the shops you use to see what is on offer and at what price.

    Hi,

I have not got all the components yet, but this is what I already bought (before the outbreak):

    Intel Core i7-9700K
    Noctua NH-U9S
    ASUS ROG STRIX B360-G
    HyperX Fury 16 Go DDR4 2666 MHz
Gigabyte AORUS Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G

For the rest I will reuse my case, etc., for now.

I live in the middle of nowhere, the nearest place selling power supplies is a guy who repairs computers, he has not got a website and does not get much deliveries at the moment.

So I can buy from him now what he has in stock or wait (until after summer?) when things will be back to normal, hopefully.

Regarding the Inter-tech they are very basic models, up to something like 400W if I remember well.
The Corsair are also the most basic series.
I considered at some point the Cooler Master MWE Gold (650W also), is that any good?
The EVGA is gone and he has a client interested in the Fractal Design.

    Does this help?

I forgot, there is also a Thermaltake DPS Gold 650W advertised by a different guy (never used he says), with a price to negotiate.

Go for cheapest between Seasonic Focus GX and SF Leadex III then.
