The prices don't vary too much (maybe about 15% either ways). I've attached two other pricelist from one of the cheaper stores around. Online, I've checked on the Corsair RM650 and it retails at MYR 439, not including shipping.

I was abit shocked honestly with the pricing of PSU nowadays. So, I can't just go and pick one now.

It's decent but i've reluctant to recommend it because there are reports of coil whine with it under low load and secondary caps are meh, regardless, SF Leadex III costs the same and it should be better.
Thanks for the tip on the lights.

Also, a link to stores in Malaysia that you would shop at would help. What's a good value/more desirable may be too expensive or unavailable in another region.
I'm looking at the MSI B450-GAMING-PRO-CARBON-AC. Only PCIe 3.0 only. Otherwise, I'd have to invest in a X570 chipset. I've decided to not invest too heavily on future tech like PCIE 4.0, NVme, or even ray tracing. It could be more relevant in the future, but I don't think its needed for the next couple of years (well, at least for me)

Yes. You are correct. Burst mode is only at < 10% load.

And, look out... The new Intel ATX12V design guide has the 2% efficiency requirement in it, so get ready to have "burst mode" on just about everything.

Heya, I manage to find a Super Flower Leadex II Gold 650W at 24% cheaper than the Leadex III Gold 650W. I've looked at the spec sheets for both and they indicate some differences eg Leadex II has an AC Input of 200V ~ 240V whereas Leadex III is 100V ~ 240V. Also, the fan is slightly bigger on the Leadex II.

What I want to ask is whether the Leadex II is just as good as the Leadex III, given that the Leadex II is 25% cheaper?

    Thanks

Super Flower pulled off some fuckery with 80+ certification, this model is also certified as 550W under full-range input but since mains voltage is 230V in Malaysia it doesn't matter for you much.

It is. It's essentially what EVGA G2 is.
