Default Silly idea for a 14.4V charger from a PC power supply

How well would the following work

    * Take the 12V off a PCIe cable and divide it with a voltage divider (two resistors)

    * Then feed back the reduced voltage to the sense wires, to get the power supply to up the output voltage.

I assume I would not be able to force it to reach 14.4V

Just a thought as I already have a car battery charger based on switched mode technology.

Hopefully I have not already asked this question.
