How it is connected tho ? Do you have UPS or some old-ass hardware Jon have mentioned before ? This indeed could be interference. Try to disconnect every piece of hardware from the mains to see if that changes everything (and bypassing UPS if you have one).

No Ups, no old hardware, disconnected all stuff in room but no changes, tried disable all power saving stuff in bios from corsair post:
https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthr...6&t=85166(just in case), still the same.

Well, it looks like you're just unlucky then.

Aside from the GW CS being inferior to the RMx in most other ways

Well from 2 psu I had cs750m(GW) is quiet and rm550x(CWT) is whiny, so itís 1:0 in favor of greatwall
BTW I manage to return my faulty rm550x and people from shop said all modern psu have coin whine, this is normal. I guess old psu used to have good quality components and now when everything is made in China we just need to get used to whiny electronics.

All modern PSUs have coil whine... but according to your FrequenSee screenshot, yours has a bit more.

That's true but personally, i don't hear any noise coming from my RMx 750W (new revision) and my rig are very quiet so it's not like it's drown in other noise. So, i guess it's just OP's luck (or lack of it).

99.9% of the time, I have to have my ear right up to the back of the PSU to hear buzzing.

But to some people, that's too much.
