    Default New build PSU

    Hello.My first post.
I am about to build a new system. Around an X570 Master mobo.
I cant decide what PSU. Had really good customer service from Corsair in the past. To me, that's worth the little extra. I even had a psu fail just out of warranty. They still gave me a recon unit in exchange.
Not saying that I wouldn't use a different make. I still use a decade old OCZ 700. Going strong

I have found an RM759X at 100 from Currys
    Or about 140 for a HX 750
Don't think its much better at 40% more. Saying that. I want a rock solid PSU for this build. Never spent this much on a system before.
I am a big believer is buying a good MOBO. The rest of the bits come and go. A solid PSU to supply its power

Havnt decided on them all yet
Ryzen 3600 but I will upgrade to the best one they make for AM4, when they bring out a new version. Pointless buying 3900 now, when prices are high.Just buy the latest mobo I can at the time of buying.
Corsair MP600 SSD and a cheaper m.2 for storing games etc.
up to 10 case fans. Water cooling D5 pump.
Using my GTX 980 but again, will be upgrading in the coming year.
Its hard listing parts which I havnt got yet. I start with a solid mobo and psu and change my system over the years, until its worn out or obsolete

I'd recommend the Corsair TXm 550 for 65 pounds on Amazon looking at current UK prices.

I went in PSU calculator. Entered the latest CPU, GPU etc and it was 550w. No way is that future proof. I want at least 100w over.
That PSU isn't even modular. I would be stepping back 10 years

There is no way you actually found a PSU calculator that actually works.

You're not making it easy by giving almost no information.

I did, but here is a better list
Lian Li Dynamic XL ROG Certified Mid Tower Case (rgb)
    Gigabyte x570 Master
AMD 3600 but later 3950 or what ever will be the final CPU for x570 board.
Water cooling for CPU (d5 pump) This will include 2x140 fans
    5 x Corsair ML120 rgd fans
    2x Corsair ML140 fans
GTX 980 but upgrading to a better card 2070 etc
    2x m.2 drives. Corsair mp600 or Gig 4.0 also ADATA SX8200
    Possibly another item. controller etc
