    meths. and cotton bud. i like the smell.

    but those pins in the socket are very very very very very very really really really delicate. dont bend them.

    ok...bit of a field report here: I disassembled the CPU and AIO cooler, scrubbed away all the old TIM, cleaned well then reapplied new TIP and reassembled the whole thing.
    I have to say that perhaps I had used too much TIM before this operation, but it was not such a messy job as I expected. Still, after I put on the new TIM, the system seems to be a little berrer (and cooler...now stable temperature is around 34-35 degrees!).
    Yet the random reboots still occurr...

    Next thing will be disconnecting BD player...see you tomorrow for an update on this...

    Tried to...but I got to diagnostic option in the MyASUS app...I don't know if this is a function available only for ASUS AIO products...
