Default Seasonic 600TL fanless vs 650TR, which is the best for silent case with damping foam?

    Hi,

So, I want to buy a ~600-700W titanium PSU, to be used on a silent pc.
I will buy a case with damping foam (still did not decide which), and I am uncertain if the low air intake will be more detrimental for the 600TL or for the 650TR, in the short (efficiency) and long run (durability).

After researching, I have came up to the final decision between both Seasonic titanium 600TL (fanless) and 650TR (ultra prime).
Which one should I pick for my purpose?

    Specs:
    PC1: AMD 3700X, GTX1070, 32Gb DDR4, 2SSDs, 3HDDs
    or
    PC2: AMD 3900X, GTX1080Ti, 64GB DDR4, 2SSDs, 4HDDs

(and btw, do you have a suggestion for a silent case? Thank you)

I dont understand what you're asking.
I just want to know which one is better from those 2, for a silent PC.
    Options are 600TL or 650TR.
Price is not an issue to compare. I wanted a quality assessement for the goal I wanted.

Imagine that it will draw 300-500W 24/7, on a silent PC case.

He's asking if you have options other than the two Seasonics.

    Alright. Thanks.
you can choose any option available on the market. I wanted the PSU with the highest efficiency and low noise for the silent pc config, running 200-500W 24/7 (daily basis) with the specs above.

Well, obviously fanless is going to be the lowest noise possible.

But a silent PSU just sounds the same. You won't hear any difference.

What I'm asking is if a hotter environment inside a silent pc case, compared to a normal case, will be dangerous or decrease its durability for a fanless PSU running 24/7.
