Thank you for sharing. Basically all successful PSU brands have similar or even better equipment. Only shitty brands launch PSU without proper testing. So far, I haven't seen anything impressive from Micronics.

So true. Irony that Micronics has the highest PSU market share in Korea.
At least they finally(!) put DC to DC in their new bronze lineup(OEM: Suichuan CE-LINK)...

    Nice catch, asked them.
Actually there is not a single mention that this platform utilizes DC-DC for both minor rails in the product catalogue lol

XD I don't expect so much
... actually I was surprised when found out they had '0' chromas until recent.

BTW, that model is recently claimed(saw about 5~10 claim posts in a month) that the power goes out with the exploding sound...
And a guy found out what was exploding...

resistor between the transformer and primary heatsink.

    What might be the problem?

Even regional brands like be quiet operate multiple Chroma setups. Back in the day they had 3 units in their German HQ alone plus the extra equipment in their Taipei office. Factories usually have more than a dozen units in QC and engineering plus many many cheap loads like Sunmoon. Every production line in a good factory has one for checking all aspects of performance quickly. Having a Chroma test setup is impressive for a site/magazine but not for brands.

I would like to see some "tours" of factories that actually manufacture in Korea. With the recent Trump tariffs, they should flourish in the U.S. market.
