I have a P4 1.9Ghz with 256MB RDRAM and a Geforce Ti 200....and that is my MAIN rig. Just gave away(about a year ago) my P1 133Mhz 16MB(upgraded to 32MB) RAM with a 1.2GB upgraded to 8GB) hard drive...and of course onboard graphics.

    Howdy all.
Well, can't beat some of you guys, on this one. Certainly not looking at some of the 'steam-powered' rigs listed, but for the last 5 years, have been using girlfriend's hp Pavillion 7909, which I'm 'on' now !
(Still building MY rig, and her replacement one !)
    Current spec :
    Asus A7-VML Socket 'A' m/b
AMD Duron 800MHz CPU ('upgraded' to Athlon 1200MHz)
    onboard S3 ProSavage Graphics
    64Mb SDRAM (upgraded to 512Mb)
    30Gb HDD
    CD-ROM (upgraded to CD-R/RW)
onboard sound (upgraded to SoundBlaster Live soundcard)
all powered by the cheapest and nastiest replacement PSU, a computer repair shop, could possibly 'palm' her off with !
Currently play : Praetorians (excellent strategy game), although sometimes a little jerky, on this rig, and Fighting Steel (naval warfare game) with fairly frequent 'crashes', and accompanying cussing from the operator !

    Cheers

P.S. Thanks jonnyGURU for the Birthday message !

Well, I occasionally play Sid Meiers Pirates! (plus a host of other old games) on my 15 year old Amiga 1200. This is no x86 rig, it has a Motorola 68030 CPU @ 50 MHz (originally 68020 @ 14 MHz, but I stuck an accelerator card in there about 10 years ago).

Still rocking the old 939 with Crysis(Cuban-Ultima TOD mod)Jericho, Mass Effect, COD4, AOC, ECT. And that's after three dead sets of RAM, crushed core on my Opty, one fried X-FI and a bad mem slot which fubared my DC experience

Do I feel the pressure to upgrade?
    But of course

Do I have the loot to make this upgrade happen?
    Of course not

But after all is said and done, the Zeus sits in my ancient P180, playing tiddleywinks

Since the dead thread is already revived....

My secondary machine for when I go home on breaks is still running an Athalon XP 2100+ and Radeon 9700. It runs some older Source engine games and most MMO games decently enough to play. Although, once I get a new video card and power supply for my main machine, these parts finally retire from my secondary machine...
