I wonder when they did this interview. Corsair talked to them last year, but the factory didn't meet the audit. There was no contract.

It's ok. Like I said, it failed Corsair's audit. But since then they installed a second set of burn in chambers and put in a shop floor system, so they're much closer to being the kind of factory Corsair would use.

    When:
    July 4, 2019.

    From the interview:
    Q) How long since Andyson worked with major global brands?
    A) Andyson revamped their facilities since 2013 to nowdays. A year after 2013, we cooperated with Rosewill, then another year later Antec and later EVGA... And this year we are cooperating with Corsair.

    and also mentioned:
'Corsair HQ visited Andyson factory this year'
'New Corsair products will be shown in 2019 second half'

They did the interview in July 4th????

If that's true, he's just bold face lying.

I've been to Andyson factory in early 2017. The place saw some serious upgrades in the last few years. It's definately one of the better factories, but I'd be careful with bringing large volume there because it's quite small. Bringing very large volume to rather small factory can bring you into all sorts of trouble. For example, the burn in time can be specified for each product. However if factory has rather small burn in capacity they need other customers to accept lower burn in time to avoid semi-finished goods piling up. I've also seen factories running burn in on sundays or longer than regular factory operating hours. For a lot of other potential bottlenecks it's similar. For a small or medium sized customer those bottlenecks aren't any problem, but for a large global scale brand like Corsair it will be at some point.

You are exactly correct. That's why they just doubled the burn in capacity. They were only willing to burn in for half the time Corsair required previously. And they would need to do three shifts to keep up with Corsair's volume, so they would only be allowed to a regional SKU if Corsair were to use them.

Andyson claims that they manufacture 100K~120K PSUs each month(max 150K), I thought it was quite a lot - then how much the T1 or T2 companies produce... or Corsair sales each month? 500K? 1M?
