Why? Where did you get that name from?

Found that at latest safety cert, that's the OEM for local brand's(well actually not local - micronics) new lineup.

    I know Micronics.

Is it for a Micronics desktop PSU or a Micronics accessory like a charger or maybe a wall plug for a peripheral?

CE-LINK has never made PSUs that I know of.

Probably shit... and I'll tell you why.

    Fake 80 PLUS.

Coolmax doesn't have any 230V EU PSUs listed on 80 PLUS at ALL. Ok. So they leverage CE-LINK's 80 PLUS certs. Nope. CE-LINK is nowhere to be found on the 80 PLUS website.

I have no idea why 80 PLUS doesn't send cease and desist letters to these companies that display fake 80 PLUS logos.

Actually, Coolmax is Micronics' subsidary brand, so gets certs under latter's name.

I don't think so. Maybe exclusive distributor ship in Korea, but Coolmax has been a lot longer than either Hanmi or Micronics (the current version of Micronics, that is).

    Coolmax's HQ is in Taiwan.

Taurus used to be Coolmax's fanless series. Oh how times have changed....

Anyway.. There's nothing listed under Micronics on the 80 PLUS website either, so your point is moot.

Oh you are right. Micronics full of shit, they described Coolmax as their new sub brand in catalogue. They want to make image that their PSU is 'Korean' product, like 'made with Korean tech' or 'manufactured in their own factory', totally BS.

Uh... and Coolmax from Micronics seems to have no similarity with original Coolmax, I think they are just borrowing name or something, like 'Micronics'?(So I asked them)

And there IS Coolmax listed on Micronics' 80PLUS page. 230V EU, Focus: SG-*00D12S, Taurus: CE-*00BR-H12S

I did notice the logo is different, but the names of the products are the same. Maybe they did like they did with Micronics and buy the name after the company died? I don't honestly know if the original Coolmax is still in business. They still have product in the channel, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Link? I just looked again and there is no Micronics on the 80 PLUS website. Maybe I'm blind?

    http://www.80plus.org

    Not there.
