Is it a German thing to not use a Joule rating for power strips? Weird.
The first one says it can handle up to 13,500A surge.
The second one doesn't list anything about what kind of surge it can handle. Just what kind of load it can handle.

Not sure how you would covert amps to Joules since Amps, or current, is the flow of energy while Joules, like Coulomb, is a measure of power in time. So it protects up to 19,500A in... what? 1ms? 10ms? Kind of an important factor. LOL!

I actually suspect there is much more than just how much energy it can absorb as a clever surge protector will block the surge by reflecting it back out through impedance mismatching.
I meant to edit my previous post but guess I haven't quite woken up yet.

I'm not a German myself, but mostly i buy from German Amazon, but imo it's just typical marketing, just like buying an prebuilt PC they don't list what PSU it has, because its probably trash, same with Joules, not listed in specs - probably trash too.
So what amount of joules i should be looking for to handle/protect lets say 1000W hardware? I'm not electrician so i didn't even knew about the Joules thing

What your build is doesn't dictate the amount of protection your surge strip should have. Simply put: The higher the joule rating, the more protection the strip will have, but also the more expensive the strip will be.
A decent, cheaper, surge strip will support 1680 - 2160 joules. A good one is 2770 and up.
And do make sure you get one with at least a light to tell you that the strip is still protecting.
