Default Any thoughts on the Antec VP550 plus?

This seems to be a different PSU than the older VP550p. I usually don't like using budget psu but PSU prices latlely are really eating into profits.

That is the Andyson built one.

It's double forward, and doesn't use DC to DC for the +3.3V and +5V. Sleeve bearing fan. It's about as cheap as you can get without buying a bomb.

Thanks. These tariffs are killing me. I just noticed the evga 500br on sale for $37 after rebate. I guess that's the best I will do right now.

What makes you think that PSU is any better? It's an unknown.

    Why such a small budget?

    The evga 550br is DC-DC

I build PCs and sell them as a hobby. I can usually find decent power supplies like the CX550 for $30- $35 after rebate. Lately that has been really hard.

Most of customers don't know anything about power supplies. But I won't sell anything terrible.

DC to DC is the only thing we know about it. But if you're willing to open it up and post pictures here, that would be great.
