Default A new andyson based(guessing BX?) series

    http://playwares.com/pcreview/57347222

uh.. not performing well as I expected... maybe too much cost savings?
Guessing this is BX series from Andyson, and I had never seen a BX review before.

    Definitely Andyson.

Definitely not one I've ever seen before.

They've stooped to an all new low with this one.

I dont know what inside BX . but it same platform use in M5+ ( release a long time before BX). With andyson you can change anything if you pay for that with low MOQ required ( cap/fet/fan/cable/even the case...) they very flexible.

It's not BX Series. Not sure why that assumption was made.

While it's easy to make a Bronze PSU into Silver, this one is 230V only. That's part of the "stooped too low" comment. I haven't seen Andyson undersize the primary to support only high line before. It only saves about $1.50. But like A14Tomcat said: You can pay Andyson to make whatever you want.

But I don't think it's BX series because of this and it has different power on the +12V. The only similarity is the +3.3V and +5V, but that's because they tend to use the same DC to DC cards in everything.

    Yeah definitely looks like M5+.

+ found few more inner pics

    BX650
    M5+ 550

It looks so same, isn't it just rebranded M5?

    oh BX look like M5+ rename like R series -> PX . N series -> TX . and H6 series ->GX
M5 is older design without DC to DC circuit . M5+ release in mid 2015 with only 3 model 450/550/650 ( 450W version still use group regulated)
    Antec Neo eco 550/650 series I think use a M5+ 550/650 . and andyson redesign/update some part for bigger 750 850w version (AkaHCG bronze 750 850)?

Andyson made NEOECO is group regulated.

I expected a lot higher performance for ABKO one, maybe too much cost savings from caps...?

Also voltage regulation is somewhat disappointing. I was expecting EVGA 500/600BQ level. So sad that there isnt any recommendable budget PSUS here...

Oh forgot about 500BQ in the previous posts...
    http://playwares.com/pcreview/57347222 >> 500BQ
It uses the exactly same design, but the performance is much better.
Guessing too much cost saving from secondary is causing this...(Am I right, and any other reasons?)

A lot of PSUs look similar, especially from the same manufacturer. But that doesn't mean they're the same platform.
