So Jon, how come the fan is a standard Hong Hua affair instead of a Corsair model?

    Because: Seasonic.

Asus got a lot more creative with their ME ID than Corsair did. Also, the Power Logic fan frame has the dimensions as the Hong Hua.

There's some serious clearance issues inside the Prime Titanium. You'll note that none of the Prime variants use a fan grill (that I can think of). That's part of why we had to change the ID. The clearances are so tight, we couldn't use our grill which only adds 3mm to the housing.

IIRC, there were clearance issues with the Corsair Blue Jay fan, so we opted for the standard Hong Hua. That said, we did change the fan motor a bit because the Seasonic solution was a bit noisy. You can see the effects of that in the Cybenetics report.
