I don't know what the problem is with my PC
I turn on the PC in the morning, and sometimes it will boot to the desktop, and freeze, and needs to be shut down with the power button...........reset does not work.
I then power it up again, but it won't boot up as the code led's don't light up on the motherboard.
I then power it down, switch off the PSU for about 5-10 seconds, which is either the HX850i, or the current RM550X, as the start up problem applies to both units.
Then switch the PSU back on, and press the power button and see if the code led's light up, and if not I shut the PC down again, and turn off the PSU.
I continue with the power off, PSU off, PSU on, power on, and if the code led's light up, I let it carry on booting, and if I get a working desktop, then I can use it for the rest of the day......unless I do a restart, and then I have to do the usual procedure......again.
It seems to be quite random, some days it starts and works all day, or for a few days, until it plays up.
This is my poor attempt at trouble shooting, but, it works!.....and the above makes sense to me, but............
Happy to answer any questions for further information, if I have made a confusing post........thanks.
