Default Corsair Individually Sleeved PCIe Cables compatible with AX Platinum PSU?

    https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/ACC-Se...g/p/CP-8920174

    Series: RMi, RMx, SF

    https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/psu-cable-compatibility

This table lists them as compatible though. The only thing I know for sure is that my CableMod cables have no solid capacitors whatsover (they aren't needed for my AX860 Platinum I guess).

Reason why I have to buy these cables is I got a CableMod kit years ago, but now moved to a GPU with 3 8-pin and I don't have a 3rd PCIe to hook up... And CableMod prices in EU are crazy, have to order at least 70€ of stuff, while the Corsair would be 20€ for me.

    No PSU actually "needs" them.

What about PCIe cables with Single Connector vs Dual Connectors? I don't understand why Corsair makes these two versions. Isn't considered a bad thing that the same amount of current gets split into 4 PCIe connectors rather than 2?
I remember reading that Dual Connectors cables can bring to some system instability issues in many cases, can you confirm?

I can confirm that that's horse shit.

The only reason to go with a single PCIe cable is for aesthetics.

Some brands use lower quality wiring and/or connectors which may mean that using a split connector can cause damage on the PSU side plug. This does not affect Corsair however.
