Default Cheapest (semi) fanless PSU for low power PC.

Hello. I'm looking for a PSU for a system with a i5 2400s, 8GB RAM and only with an SSD. A <=75W GPU may be added in the future.

I'm planning to slap on a massive cooler on the CPU so it could run without a fan, so I'm looking for a power supply that could run without a fan at least without dGPU.

Currently the cheapest option is Masterwatt 450W. http://www.skytech.lt/mpx4501amaabeu...-p-384803.html

..and I'm wondering if I could go even cheaper?

Here's some of our local stores:

That's pretty cheap. I can't think of anything cheaper that has a zero RPM fan mode.

Don't put yourself in the position of "going even cheaper". That kind of attitude is what gets you time bombs.

Considering that I've paid less for the CPU+MB+RAM combo...

What about PSU's that spin their fans slowly at idle, ~500ish RPM for example. As I could get a case that has PSU mount at top, and then (maybe) use a smaller heatsink as there would be at least some forced airflow that way..

PP10/11 would be suitable but they cost around the same

They can be just as good, as long as the fan is actually manufactured to spin at low RPMs. When ignorant PSU manufacturers pair a low RPM fan controller with a fan that's not made to spin at low RPM, but can start at lower RPMs, you end up with motor noise.

A Pure Power 11 is also a good PSU.
