Default Uses for OEM power supplies?

I have upgraded a few business machines for gaming and I am ending up with a pile of OEM power supplies. I was going to toss them. Any ideas about what to do with them. A couple out of old optiplexs. 1 Lenovo a couple of HPs. One weird shaped acer.

I have never opened up a psu. Anything useful inside? Can I get hurt opening one up?

    Thanks

I use nothing but OEM power supplies; they are not always as bad as is sometimes made out.

Usually always something to maybe rob. Well I did some Godly Work again...but tried a Loon fan and it killed the Apevia sadly..just a minute ago.

And messed with the Trim pot on the Cooler Master and put in a more efficient and pretty Quiet Noctua Fan. It's right at 12-12.1v....Absolutely godly unit and super-sinked. And yeah good Rubycon...at 7 or 8 or 9 level there. What I said definitely some right stuff.

Them damn Loon fans...I pulled it out and jumped again was at 11.45v...….figured id change it...wasn't using the noctua for anything....

I feel sure they would be useful to someone like me (perhaps with recapping); it would be a great pity to trash them.

    In theory you can die.
The main bulk cap hold charge, there are bleeders to discharge them, they can rarely not work.
Its better not to tuch the main bulk area and the power area.

The manufacturer and model of the PSUs are going to be on the label.
