    Unhappy Super Flower Leadex Platinum 1000W: Warranty or reparation...

    Hi from Spain! I have a Super Flower Leadex Platinum 1000W. It was bought in 2014. And without problems until now. Very happy!

    A few weeks ago, I turned off the power supply (on/off switch) because I went on a trip for a week.

    When I returned I turned on the power supply, and turned on the computer.

    Immediately a 'pop' sound was heard and my home general circuit breaker was activated. There was no smoke, no smell of burning, no spark, nothing ... Only the sound burst.

    The power supply seems dead, and the mother board does not receive power (the motherboard internal leds do not ligh). I hope there are no computer damages... :-((

    Now I am using an auxiliary computer for two weeks connected to the same wall plug/socket, without problems ...

    My questions are:

    a) I am considering to honor the 5-year warranty that manufacturer claims for the Leadex Platinum units. Has anyone processed the warranty with Leadex? I have tried to contact through their website but without answer...

    b) Is it possible to open the Super Flower Leadex Platinum 1000W and try to make a simple repair? For example, change a fuse... Of course, I am not qualified to attempt repair and I would not open it myself but someone with more experience in electronics. The problem is that it would void the warranty...

    Now I am trying to gather as much information as possible in order to decide.

    I have contacted with the store i bought it. It is confirmed that the two years is over and that I should contact the manufacturer directly.

    Sadly, the manufacturer has not replied yet. Today, I sent them a second email (https://www.super-flower.com.tw) .

    Has anyone processed the warranty with Leadex Super Flower??

    The store could have bought it through Caseking Germany they are the official distributor in Europe, so you could contact them.
