Default Great Wall OEM unit review - GamersNexus

Their first review missing a few things, but don't be too harsh - they have indicated they are very much open to suggestions on how to improve their reviews: https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreview...nchmark-review

I like the idea of Youtubers getting into PSU reviews. This will bring more PSU knowledge to all those people who prefer Youtube over traditional sites/print. It will still take a while until quality of content will be the same but this is definately a step in the right direction. The review is definately not even clsoe to the work of Aris for example, but it's definately good information for all those who don't regularly read PSU reviews on sites like Tom's, JonnyGuru, TechpowerUp, KitGuru, ComputerBase etc..

Wait what? Corsair CX500, TX850 and Riotoro Enigma 850W from Great Wall? Those are actually from CWT for the CX500, CWT, Chicony or Seasonic for the TX850 and Seasonic for the Riotoro.

But he at least should at voltage regulation measurements and open up the PSU.

@Philipus II yes you have a problem here from both sides.

The youtuber usually don't have the technical understanding, we don't even talk about the equipment yet.
On the other hand, and here I speak from my own experience, as someone who is more into technology, I find videos hard to make
By that I don't mean video editing etc. that takes a while, but already filming the right thing is sometimes time-consuming when I think of my first steps, bad.

From my side, to all of you who try this, a lot of respect to all of you.

I still have to try out what I show and how

The Enigma is GreatWall. What's Seasonic is Enigma G2, but yeah it was a big error as they confused the old TX with the new ones.

He is talking about the G2, look at the video, it has an 80PLUS Gold label and it's clearly a Seasonic Focus.

That's TXM Gold, not TX Bronze.

True. He just said "Enigma" and I couldn't see the pic clearly because I was on the phone.

Yes, that's what I meant. I was on the phone too so just wrote "new TX" thinking that it would be understood as the newest TX550M Gold.

    Sorry

PSU videos are really boring and this is why most youtubers avoid them like the plague. If nexus manages to make them popular and less boring then this is a good thing, definitely. It will bring knowledge to more people and start to appreciate the work that we put into those.

I always welcome new people in the stage and I encourage them to continue.
