Default Cooler Master Delta-made units coming soon

Cooler Master published a pic of an upcoming PSU, where it can be seen that it's made by Delta, and also its model number.

It seems that there will be 3 different models, at least the 1300W one with 80 Plus Platinum certificate. There will also be a multi-rail switch.

It's great to see new Delta-made PSUs in the market! I really hope that they include a "medium" wattage model at a reasonable price, but I doubt so.

Were they already shown at Computex?

Indeed they were. I believe lower wattage variants are being made by Chicony/Hipro instead of Delta.

Those numbers look like Antec HCP's.

Yes, that was also one of the first things that came to my mind that it looks like a version of the HCP.
Well, lets hope that it might be a different plattform...

I really love to see more different manufacturers in the Enduser Market and not just the usual CWT, HEC and co stuff...

I don't expect them to release an almost 7 years old Antec High Current Pro Platinum is a Cooler Master package...

https://www.tomshardware.com/news/co...sit,37164.html according to Aris, who has seen the physical units, it's a modified HCP.

Nothing wrong with that, it's still a modern platform with a good layout. Only the performance is something that could be better with today's standards.

Since nothing is new in "modern" units compared to the ancient Seasonic X, I don't think it's something wrong to re-release an "outdated" Delta design with modified connectors and OCP trip point.
It's been a hard day's night and I've been working like a dog.
