Default seasonic 550 prime vs focus and extra cables

I have a 7 year old rosewell psu i want to replace due to some system issue.

I'm looking at a number of psu options based on price and quality - including
    seasonic 550 prime $80
    seasonic 550 focus $70
    corasiar hx750 $90
    and a few others.
    -
The system is an i5 with intel graphics; 6 hard drives and 3 ssd. I tend to run the system 24x7 so i prefer platinum or titanium (but the seasonic titanium is $150)
    -
While the hx750 seems like a steal the 550 focus is only $70.
    -
I have two questions - is there much of a difference between focus and prime (the focus has good reviews the prime not so many); and where can i get a cheap additional sata connector for seasonic (the 550 comes with 6 - and i've had issues with splitters not fitting well on the drives - due to vibration).
    -
The hx750 does have the advantage of having 12 sata connectors but the reviews seem a bit softer for long term reliability.

    Comments - suggestions - advice ?

What "soft" reviews of the HX750?

And where are you seeing it for only $90?

I can't find the negative review now - it was not professional review but several user having issues after a few years (problem with these reviews is there is no reliable way to get an overall sample rate - also the hx750 is fairly new - i know you have commented it is a hx750i without the link stuff but is it 100% identical internal?)

Is $90 a decent price - would you just go with this psu over the 550 based off of price/quality even if it is about 300 watts more than i require ?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your message.

Like you are problably in the US or Canada, if you need any extra cables for your future (?) Seasonic, you can find them here.

    Thanks.
    Best Regards,

Several reviews from end users, yet the product has a 5 egg rating?

I'm completely unaware of any long term reliability issues.

Yes. HX and HXi are the same except the HX doesn't have Link.

$90 is very cheap for that PSU.

Thanks - in your view would you recommend the 550 seasonic focus for $70 or the hx750 for $90 with regards to reliability and system safety. I estimate my peak power usage would be between 200 watt and 250 watt with normal usage closer to 150 watt (6 hard drives 3 ssd i5 and 32 gig of ram - I'm always shocked how much power ram uses). If the psu fails it fails but i would hate to get one of those rare cases where it fries the hard drives.
