They have talent on staff that used to work for Seasonic. That's why it looks as familiar as it does.

    Very damn impressive unit!

I would probably list in the mediocre section that the RGB cable isn't sleeved, black, or even bundled with zip-ties.

Unrelated to that, I'm somewhat nostalgic to see the silly orange heatsinks back.

No. There is no PSU factories in Taiwan. They're only doing final assembly.

Even with Trump's tariffs, they're not going to bring manufacturing back to Taiwan. Only final assembly. Only 35% of the "value" of the product (could be parts, could be labor) needs to be made/assembled in Taiwan to be considered "Made in Taiwan".

Well, that explains it. Maybe these guys should team up with Riotoro and/or BitFenix for some really nice and well thought out results.

Any idea which factory does the actual assembly?
Careful what you wish for... You just might get it.

No idea. I just know they subcontract to more than one.

    Great review as always wolf,

A nice change of pace and interesting to see a unit made by its own brand, isn't FSP (SPI) still made by FSP?
I know In-Win make their own units.

I still wonder how will this company fare like Firepower (old PC Power & Cooling).

A Cybenetics report of the Mistel 650 claims the OEM to be Shang Hung.
They also list an MOV (10D561K), whereas OW finds a TVS diode in the transient filter. What's the difference?

I think I see the MOV in the review here on the left. I don't see a TVS diode.

Shang Hung could be one of the factories that does the final assembly.
