Atari 1040ST - came with my electronics repair correspondence course in '93. The school replaced it with a 386SX 33MHz system for me in 1994 when I told them I couldn't find any useful software for it.

I think it might have been a Timex Sinclair 1000 in 1982. After my parents felt confident that I could actually use a computer, they bought me my first "real" computer the next year. It was in a Coleco ADAM. That thing was awesome. That's when I first started hitting BBS's at 300 baud!

I actually hung onto that thing for 8 years. Traded it for a Vectrex game system and some cash and didn't get another computer until 1994 (486 SX33 with 16MB of 30 pin SIMM's.)

Compaq, PIII w/40GB HDD, running Windows 3.2(?).
Before that I just played with input devices for setting the comps/brains used to regulate large diesel engines.
Worth a good looking over. http://www.badcaps.net/

    DARN IT!

    Exactly.

First talking home console game was Spike on the Vectrex.

First console game ported to the arcade (usually it's the other way around) was the Vectrex's "Cosmic Chasm." AWESOME game.
