I wasn't saying 10 years because they tend to only last 10 years. I mentioned 10 years because that would put the age of the cap to fall into the Teapo caps known for "capacitor plague".

For me the capacitor plague was a favorable thing; so much dumped electronics I was able to keep and repair.
