Default Bluetooth take time to be paired.

    Hi,

I got a weird problem going on, in my pc to bluetooth devices it takes about 10 mins to be paired. I search the net and tried my best to fix it but still exist, it both happens to my note 4 and to my bluetooth speaker doss soundbox touch I haven't tried other BT devices I'm just wondering this happened because the device I'm trying to connect is outdated? Here's a bit detail for my pc specs, rog strix z370-e, i7-8700, i'm using the 2x2 Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO for connectivity. Thanks for answering.

No. That's very unusual. Any BT device I have pairs within a few seconds.

Are you waiting for the device to pair automatically or are you manually initiating pairing? I know for my watch, I have to go into the app to imitate pairing, otherwise it won't pair on it's own for some random period of time.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply I do the manual pairing and somehow I found out why it take too long, the problem is on the antenna I'm using when I removed it I can pair my devices to my pc in just a few seconds.

Smile Bluetooth depends on both hardware and software

Bluetooth depends on both hardware and software to work properly. So if your devices can't speak a common Bluetooth language, they won’t be able to connect.
