Default Finding Modular cables, my brain is melting. Help appreciated.

Hi all, I am floating through the net trying to locate a set of modular cables for a power supply I got slightly stiffed with via eBay. I got a full refund as they sent the wrong cables and do not have the originals so now I have a PSU with no cables.

I am very experienced in hardware generally but I admit this is my first modular PSU and am more than a little confused with trying to figure out what is compatible with what in the hopes of finding a set of cables for a price that wont mean me remortgaging the house. I am also considering making my own but I cant find a pin out for this model.

PSU is SS-850AM2 otherwise known as Seasonic M12II Evo 850w. Rolls off the tongue doesnt it.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Or just use a voltmeter to figure out the pinout for yourself.

Fortunately, Seasonic PSUs pretty much all use the same cables. So if you find a set for XP2, XP3, KM3 or FL2, it should work.

Corsair AX Gold (NOT Platinum) cables should work as well.

My thanks to you all, cablemod are hugely expensive so I will give them a miss.

jonnyGURU, your review was the reason I chose this PSU, once again you've proved extremely useful. Options of what to look for in terms of compatible cables helps a lot.

Thanks all, will see what I can find.

Hi there Seasonic Rep, I did so on Friday but I've not heard anything back I'm afraid.

I've just sent in another request. I hope I'm not duplicating work for you but any help is greatly appreciated.
