    Most AIO's have exposed power supplies and they are NOT intended to be opened by end users.

    Why would a customer be getting a repair if the unit is still under warrantee?

    Because the company will sometimes quote you a 3 month lead on getting your product repaired when a repair shop can have it done that day.

    I'm actually on the companies side on this one.

    It is a bit like people who buy a computer to try, then return it if they don't like it; at the end of the day it drives the price up.
