Overclocking an office machine is just asking for trouble; the safety margin is there for a reason.

Don't buy Dark power 11. It's outdated. If you like be quiet! go for the cheaper SP11. Prime is awesome, however some times people complain about fan bearing noise.

With both oc i would go with 650W.
Seasonic recommend to use 2 cables for cards with more than 225W.
in the 550W you got the slots without the cales....
it is not general rule for all companies.
a lot of 550W models got 1 pcie slot with 2 connectors.
**that doesn't mean that you can't use those PSU.

    For what the shitty 7820x?!
Makes little sense when there is Ryzen 7/2700x wich cost half and does about the same...

And with TLBleed coming, wich caused BSD to deactivate SMT on Intel, I don't see why you would pay for the i7 at all and not get an i5 instead...

And why Overclock? ANd what do you mean with that??
YOu can easily double the Power Consumption of that CPU...

The recommended PSU for the 1080Ti is 600W and above. You cannot have a 140W proc as well and OC with a 550W (as pointed out, you need around twice that), you would also be better off WC.
