Default be quiet! Introduces The System Power U9 PSU Series

Every PSU brand has to include in its portfolio a number of affordable offerings for people with tight budgets. Today be quiet! introduced the System Power U9 line, which includes four members with capacities ranging from 400W to 700W. All of the units are 80 PLUS Bronze certified. In order to keep the production cost low, there are no modular cables, which are usually the first luxury to go in budget-oriented PSUs. There is no information on the original manufacturer, however so far be quiet! has preferred FSP for the majority of its products.

Very interesting to see the changes with regular System Power 9 which is 230VAC only. https://i2hard.ru/reviews/obzor-i-te...er-9-500w.html

I am wondering... System Power 9 / U9 or Corsair CX?

They probably aren't that far a part overal. They all have their good and bad parts. And the two be quiet!'s are probably for different countries, so you can't really choose between them.

Corsair CX is the more modern platform and probably the one with better performance, but the 450W version lacks the second PEG connector. And both be quiet!'s will probably be more silent.

I will ask them for review, to check how silent they are.

What worries me the most is the fan, I don't know how the Sleeve Bearing Yate Loon compares with the... Rifle? Bearing from Hong Hua used in the CX. Reliability-wise.

You are correct that it is a Rifle bearing on the CX.

I'm also interested how it compares with the CXm as well - CXm has semi-modularity but they both have Sleeve bearing fans...

    Wrong comperisation.
The System Power 9/U9 is more in the Area of Corsair VS
While the Pure Power 10 is more in the Area of CX

Price of those are in the same range, more or less.

The CX is a bit above the System 9, while the fan RPM rotates rather quickly at lower loads it seems...

The thing is that (as usual) my questions and thoughts are based on how the Spanish market is, and here the prices are:

    CX450 52€ (DE from 44€)

    CX550 63€ (DE from 60€)

    System Power 9 400W 55€ (DE from 38€)

    System Power 9 600W 64€ (DE from 54€)

    Pure Power 10 400W 64€ (DE from 47€)

    Pure Power 10 500W 72€ (DE from 55€)

So that's basically why I am asking.
