    So the 850 watt model doesn't suffer the same sudden fail of spike power on testing issue that the 1000 watt model has? Was it possible the 1000 watt model they had was defective?

    The design has rather sensitive protection circuitry causing that issue. Not usually a problem under normal use, but Seasonic's had to tweak it to behave with Vega cards IIRC. This question would be better addressed by Seasonic Rep.

    I think I only had 3 or 4 shut down like that, the rest behaved.

    if it helps, i have an overclocked 8700k at 4.9ghz and a 1080ti with 6 140mm fans and it doesn't have a problem turning on.

    Put another 1089ti in there and then kets see what happens—

    Technical flaw was detected only in 1000 W version?

    I think its across the board on all models from what I have read.
