    Nope. No idea.

PCB-A is very clean, though. Definitely comes from a decent PCB-A house.

Next week I'll take it completely apart and look for issues like cold solder joints and see what the components look like.

Very interesting results given it's a rather unknown. A huge improvement over what was expected.

Haven't figured out who makes this thing yet.

Do know that the PCB is from JSY: http://www.jsypcb.com//en/

Also find it's the same PSU that everyone else is selling as a 1800W mining PSU, just in different housings:

I've seen this PSU shell style in a mainland China factory in march. They claim they have the tooling for it. They also quoted similar product, so it could definately be from there. The factory I'm talking about is rather focused on cheap PSU, but actually is quite large. They now have 4 or 6 production lines IIRC. They also do their own automated insertion and SMD mounting/soldering. They produce low end PSU for quite a lot of brands, including Cooler Master. From what I saw they also are subcontractor for HEC.

    Why be so coy?

If you've been to the factory, why not just say who they are.

Well, you're not the only one having complaints about JonnyGuru forums postings before. I need to be a little careful what to share here. Some brands don't like my activities here

Ok.. I think I've narrowed down the OEM as http://www.sonyang.net/en-index.asp

Kind of flew under my radar as they're not in Shenzhen.

Now someone else in China is telling me it's Pangu Power (aka Sun Yung... pretty close to Son Yang). That makes a little more sense.

I like that they use the Insane Clown Posse logo as their logo.

I'm going to have to check them out.

I'll upload some more "up close" photos by this weekend and then start working on the 750W.

Well, with exhange rates for cryptocurrencies dropping mining busines sbecame much smaller. They will have to clear some overstock.
