Default Good PSU under 60 eur?

Hi everyone, I've looked at two options: Seasonic S12II-430 and Corsair CX450M.

I've read contradictory arguments about the two (Seasonic S12II being better but so old you shouldn't buy it?)

So what do you recommend? Do you have other option for less than (or close to) 60 euros?

    Thanks.

PS: The PSU is for an office build.

I've also looked at the EVGA 450 BT.

The S12II and EVGA are bad choices.

I would get a Be Quiet Pure Power 10 400W, IMHO it's the most reasonable option: good fan, good internal quality, silent, well protected... great for an office PC. https://www.amazon.es/quiet-Pure-Pow...dp/B01N34WRZ3/

To be honest, most people that are always recommending Seasonic S12II in Spanish forums and communities are extreme fanboys of Seasonic... or they have poor knowledge. They ignore that it's a 10 year old unit with group regulation, crappy protection system, and not even quiet... and, you know, the price is on the high side... If you mention (for example) Bitfenix Formula to one of them, they will say that it's shitty when it's a clearly superior unit in every aspect...

The best that you can do is to ask here, because this forum has some of the greatest PSU experts in the world who will surely give their opinion

The Antec HCG-520 EC is also good. I am using it. Configuration is very good. check out the full specification, see if its matches your requirement https://www.startech.com.bd/antec-hcg-520m-ec

That's internally the same Seasonic S12II Bronze PSU as breixobaloca talked about. Not really interesting anymore.

Glad to meet more people from Spain

As breixobaloca menciono Bequiet seria una mejor opcion.

However i think the Corsair CX450 is a good value, and de buena calidad(quality)

It would be a tie, the corsair is cheaper and i've used it in several computers i've fixed and no problems.

S12II is an old design but ok if you are on a tight budget and your options were very limited.

    Still,80+ bronze is ok.

The problem is that although the unit is so old, prices (at least in Spain) are even higher than other options with DC-DC, better protections and overall quality. S12II 520 for 65€, 620 for 75€, and M12II 620 for 90€ is a no-go.

As for the CX, I would still recommend the Pure Power 10, it's slightly better overall, and it's also inside his budget anyway. Anyway, the CX450 is also one of my main recommendations for budget units.
