    Default Best OEM power supplies

Who are the best at OEM power supplies?

    Delta
    Hipro
    Bestec
    AcBel
    LiteOn

    come to mind

i.e. if I find I have a choice for an OEM replacement, which might be the better brand.

The Dell 570 came with power supplies from

    Hipro
    Bestec

    and probably others

They don't do PSU no more and what you see is rather old.
But it seems they had "Digital" PSU decades before we heard about them.

Who does Dell use? Their machines accrue dust, dirt, scum -- they are never cleaned, but they gol on forever. Seems to me they use long-lasting PSU's.

Hipro, Lite-On, Delta, FSP, Besteq, and maybe one or two others I'm forgetting.
It's a real grab bag of units depending on the Year, Make, & specific model.

A good example is some of the old Core 2 Duo / Quad Optiplex units with mATX boards had 275w units inside but at least 3 different SKUs for them include Hipro, Lite-On, & Delta.

Notice that Dell uses top OEM's.

I am sort of surprised companies like Corsair don't have an OEM line to offer PC makers like Dell; I guess because they don't manufacture their own supplies.
