    They are quad-core too! How the !&$#*# are they coming out of nowhere with Quad-core's that consume less power then their dual cores?

    BTW I love the comment in the article from that AMD Fanboy...

    "However, Schultz said he believes Intel has been trailing AMD on the efficiency front, largely because of the differences in architecture between the two chip makers.

    "AMD puts the memory controller on the processor itself," Schultz said. "When you compare processors, if an AMD processor consumes the same amount of electricity, AMD is still more efficient" because of the placement of the memory controller, he said. "

    Right... What he doesn't say is that the intel chips use less power

    The memory controller uses all of what? a few watts?

    only one amd chip i can name uses less power.there is a am2 3800x2 that uses only 35 watts,but they cost to much for there performance.
