    5Y warranty...those units should last way more.

    True. But every year of warranty customers return PSU which are working perfectly fine. If the PC does not work properly end users blame the PSU. Even reselelrs are often too lazy to check the PSU which are claimed to be faulty andjuist send them to local brands RMA center. Every year warranty brings considerable cost even without any PSU failing.

    I think there will be some users which will automatically discard the unit for having 5-year warranty... I hope reviews appear soon.

    Yes. Its a hard sell when you can get 7Y and 10Y for less money.

    About half of them these days. There's still efficiency and regulation issues at higher wattages because you can only move so much power through PCB.

    Well said. Nowdays it's kinda marathon to blame the PSU first. When computer takes a blue screen - it's PSU fault, when the display have a flicker - it's psu fault and so on.
    I know people wich they have not even tried to see if the problem comes from elsewhere, but have RMA'ed the PSU, and finally found it was not their fault.
