    Default A crappy cheap PSU

This thing was in a system worth about $ 600. I believe that these kind of PSU should be banned.
    The photos speak for themselves.

    Thanks.
You don't need to see the interior after reading label & web:
    -PFC Passive
-only 27 A in +12V, so 324W (in teory) so that crap will never reach the nominal 450W not 400... any decent brand would sell as a 350W PSU, perhaps 370 W
    -very low efficiency
    Of course inside crappy capacitors
    Edit:
BTW is there any PCI-E 6 pins (or 6+2) connector? Any decent 350W PSU has one 6+2(Be Quiet System Power 8, Cougar STX, Seasonic S12ii, ...)
It seems there's none like in Tacens Mars Gaming MP2 550
    Edit 2:
Price is less than 13 €. Of course you can't get a decent PSU so cheap.

Indeed. But not many people know this. Judging by the components used (and the dimensions of the transformer) i don't think this PSU can output more than 15 amps on the 12v rail. (like Hercules one)

BTW is there any PCI-E 6 pins (or 6+2) connector?
Fortunately, it has no PCI connector, because if it had certainly it would have been used in gaming systems, and would have killed many PC's with her ripple.

Yes, but that thing is far below the decent level.

Yes, 13 euro is the ticket for the fire hazard territory. It's some kind of discount compared to Tacens.

Yep, is her cousin. (at least Hercules had one more Y cap)

That unit is bad.. but not THAT bad. I've seen a lot worse.

That's an off the shelf CWT 350W similar to the GPM platform. It's actually not passive PFC. Just 230V only because they use undersized PFC parts that can handle the high current of lower voltage mains.

Interesting it has two bulk caps. Probably made for higher hold up time for developing countries.

I actually requested a product like this for India a couple years ago. Sales in India shot it down because the cost of the extra capacitor made it "too expensive". LOLOLOLOL!!!

It's really not close to GPM.

It sort of is. The lower wattage 350W. Not the 450 and up. Which is why it's weird that it has two bulk caps. Can't remember the platform name, but it's the step below GPM.

    You don't need those photos.

    Rule of the Thumb:
If there are no combined Power ratings (for +5V/+3,3V), PSU is shit and must never ever be used for anything else than a paper weight. And defensive purposes...

In 2013, my father bought this crap for around 15$ in today's money to revive an old pc .. it lasted a few weeks and it died..

I'm not sure it's better or worse than yours, at the very least it seems it's lying less on the label (which says 3.3v 24a , 5v 35a , 12v 16a , max 250w on 3.3+5, max 430w on 3.3+5+12 ... but all diodes on secondary look like 16a max)
