Default Cooler Master MWE Bronze series available

After launching the MWE series, the Cooler Master MWE Bronze series are now available.

MWE Bronze has comes with an 80PLUS Bronze certification, has DC-DC, a CM LDB fan, is non modular and should be a bit cheaper then the GM serie. It's available in a 450W, 500W, 550W, 600W and 650W version. 500W and 600W versions are probably for a different market then the 450W, 550W and 650W versions.

Cooler Master's family of power options features a line of stable, high quality, 80 Plus Bronze power supplies. The MWE Bronze series is compact and available in outputs suitable for most systems. On top of safety regulations, the MWE Bronze includes Cooler Master's 3 year warranty. Inside, the Silencio fan blades run with less turbulence while sealed LDB bearings guarantee a longer service life. High quality components keep up with daily power demands, while delivering consistent output even in 40°C surroundings cool and quietly.

What on earth are LDB bearings, I know what HDB and FDB are but I've never seen or heard of LDB before

Loop Dynamic Bearing; it's a Cooler Master thing.

EDIT: Just for clarification I don't have any experience with this bearing type /yet/ but if it's anything like Cooler Master's "POM Bearing" then you should treat it the same as you would a rifle bearing. A better, quieter sleeve, but nothing otherwise noteworthy.

Platform same as Cougar LX600 (which is slightly different than EVGA 700B and BQ650-750)

These could be good budget contenders.

    And also LX500

    That is really unexpected.

    Release article on THW: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/coo...sus,35557.html

Cooler Master decided to throw a budget PSU line into the market, addressing mainstream systems and users who don't want to invest much on their next PSU upgrade. The MWE line consists of five models with capacities ranging from 450W to 650W. None of them feature modular cables in order to restrict the production cost, but their platform utilizes DC-DC converters for the generation of the minor rails and Teapo capacitors, which are of good quality in general.
Also, the two reviews in posts above show the DC-DC platform for MWE Bronze 600 and 650W, but CM's promotional materials for the lower wattage models (550W here) show a different platform without DC-DC modules:

Maybe their "DC-DC" only includes the 3.3V rail, if the DC-DC claim is true for them at all.
