I don't follow. You're saying, that I said that every Prime unit is defective? Because I never ever said anything that even points to that direction.
NO you don't sayed that, just I completted, my bad.

So is there any concern that the chosen fan in this unit will fail well before 12 years ?

If it does, which it shouldn't, you are covered by our warranty.

But warranty doesn't cover return shipping or hassle of removing and reinstalling the psu. I have had several cheap case and psu fans failed over the years (the psu that had a failed fan had a similar fan but it was not seasonic).

Removing and installing the PSU is fairly easy with the full modular design.

You can be sure we have made enough testing to ensure reliability as the coverage of the warranty is also a cost to us financially and reputation wise, not just a cost and inconvenience to our customers.

And it is as you have stated, you had several "cheap case and PSU fans" fail. The fans we use are of excellent quality and reliability.

    @ The Mask
And here is the review of the Corsair HX850 at Toms where is visible in the table also the Seasonic Prime Platinum 850W and Prime Gold 850W. Both are among the best performers at advanced transient tests...
The strange thing is with EVGA 850 G3 wich is the first model reviewed by Aris and it had better perfromance on those test (and weaker voltage regulation) than the second one visible on this charts wich instead has better voltage regulation than the first one.

Thats would mean if those PSU sucks on normal computer, the other models would suck too (more) with high-end computers.

    Spot on Alexander.

But wait, give The Mask a bit of time to come up with something else to troll us.

This seems inappropriate from a corporate representative. While I do not know the truth of his comment (if the psu will be have different when filtering erratic load I do in fact understand his reasoning and hardly feel his comments are in the same category as a troll. However, I do find your response loaded in nature and therefore offensive.

    @you2,
Sorry to offend you but as The Mask would say, it was a joke.

Wtf, you sure you are a Seasonic representative and not just an annoying Seasonic fanboy that doesn't want to hear the truth?

When someone said that Seasonic build the best PSU's and I explained to him that there are actually a lot of other manufacturers with higher quality power supplies, you started whining.

Just here above you started again when I explained that voltage regulation with static load isn't interesting because a PC load isn't static. And that wasn't the second time.

What are you trying to accomplish here?
