    Default PSU Recommendation

    Thermaltake TR2/500W/Non Modular/ATX 2.3/A-PFC/12cm/EU/80 PLUS Gold
    VS
Antec NeoEco 550M 550 Watt 80 PLUS Bronze Semi Modular Power Supply

Which one should I choose and why should I choose?

First of all, there are two versions of the TR2 Gold 500w. One made by Sirtec, and one made by ATNG.

The Sirtec made units are of their Astro Lite HPM design. They are a bit better than the ATNG built units, but it shouldn't be a huge difference.

Likewise, Antec has a similar conundrum where there are two manufacturers for that product. The older models are CWT GPK units while the newer units are Andyson AD-X M1 designs.

In all cases I think I would go with the Thermaltake instead as it should have a better capacitor loadout as well as an overall newer design to it.

None of these units are going to be top of the line though and there could be a better option available. Do you have a store you plan to buy from, or a catalog you can show us of all your available options? As well as a budget to how much you wish to spend.

Between the Antec and the Thermaltake, definitely the Thermaltake.

Yeah, out of all of those, the Thermaltake is the best option
