Default PSU related advice for a new pc

    Hi Guys,

Below are the specs of my pc-
    Ryzen 1600
    Asus Prime 350 Plus
    8gb corsair ram
    Spec 1 case
    Zotac 1060 6gb

I was planning to get Seasonic Sii 520w PSU but the same is OOS everywhere. Only few websites have it but they are selling it at almost double its price. Members at TDF suggested me Antec vp550p PSU but a senior member who reviews psu's there said that it is a bad choice. I am totally confused. My budget for the PSU is like 5000 inr. Which one should I buy?

    Thanks

I doubt many people here know what is "TDF". Surely you don't mean Tour de France?

Paste links to online stores that you can use.

    Sorry The Digit Forum.
    mdcomputers.in
    theitdepot.com

    This is the first alternative-
Seasonic S12II-520 S12II Series 520W Power Supply with 80+ Bronze Certification, way too overpriced on every Indian website. Not available with dealers.

    Second one
Antec VP550P 550 Watts, Pricing is okay but reviews are not good. People also commented that a 5 year old Seasonic>new Antec VP550P

A guy who does extensive reviews of PSU's on The Digit Forum said that Antec VP550P is crap and suggested these alteratives- Corsair RM650X & Cooler Master MasterWatt 600 Lite. I am too confused.

The Seasonic S12II is very old, bad protected and thus not something you should buy.

The Antec there seem to be 2 versions:
One awesome with 540W on +12V and one new one (V2) with only 444W on +12V I can't find any usable information about...

Though both are made by Dalta so I'd prefer them over the Seasonic...

Thanks for replying Mr. Payne. I am talking about this one-

You should, because calling a Antec VP550P crap and then recommend a Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 600W doesn't make any sense.

Anyhow a Cooler Master GX B3 is as low as I would go for a modern PC like yours quality and performance wise.

Or if you really are on tight budget then the Antec VP550P, but only revision one. Which is that one on Amazon, if they really sell the one from the picture.

Thanks for replying, I will check the availability of the Cooler Master one that you have recommended in the morning from the second website. It is OOS in the first.
I have already ordered the Antec VP550P from Amazon, from the same link which I have mentioned in the earlier post. Is there any specific thing which I should look for on the box to make sure that the model which I have received is indeed the right one?

I will as soon as I get the same. So, is Antec Vp550p fine for my rig? I am so worried about this.
