Question Need a PSU recommendation for my mid-tier build

I own an old Corsair TX750 that I was going to recycle for my new build, but was advised that old PSUs (this is about 4-5 years old) are a sketchy idea. This puppy worked hard, sometimes the PC was on 24/7 for a month or so.

I was going to go with an EVGA Supernova G3 550W as a replacement but it is either overpriced on some sites or there will be a shipping delay I don't want to deal with.

Can anyone recommend me a solid PSU for my build? Ideally between $70-100.

It'll need to power a Ryzen 5 1600 w/ stock cooler, GTX 1070 (in time, a less demanding GPU for now), msi PC MATE mobo, 1 TB HDD, 500 GB SSD, and 4 fans. pcpartpicker estimates a load of about 320 watts (not including OC'ing obviously).

I would just go down to Best Buy and buy an EVGA 80+ Bronze but I was told Supernova G3 is the tier I should be investing in.

Other than efficiency, your TX750 is just as good as the G3. Only 5 years old? That PSU is rated at 50°C, has all 105°C rated Japanese caps and a DBB fan. It's got another 5 years left in it.

You are fortunate, the guru only emerges from his deep meditative state in the vast wilderness once a year to answer a question .
